Using the Moderate This Quiz Feature

Students may have an accommodation from Disability Services for Students for extended time or additional attempts on quizzes in Canvas. You are responsible for providing these accommodations by using the "Moderate This Quiz" feature in Canvas. Contact your Instructional Design Partner for one-on-one support the first time you use this feature. The "Moderate This Quiz" feature interacts with other features in quizzes, such as availability time and time limit, and your Instructional Design Partner can help you understand the process.

First, you must create and publish the quiz. Once the quiz is published, you can use the "Moderate This Quiz" feature to give students with accommodations extra time or additional attempts on the quiz.
